Gymnastics

Saturday was Caeli's first ever gymnastics meet. It was so fun!! It reminded me a little bit of watching bantam wrestling when my brothers were little. Caeli had a blast. They got to use the college girl's equipment and even got to run out of the tunnel. Grandma Marlene came up to watch and she loved to have her there to show off for.

Caeli's favorite thing to do is the beam. She has pretty good balance and does really well.

She carries her metal around everywhere and even asked if she could sleep with it.

She said her favorite part was when they gave her the metal. It's fun to see how much she has learned in such a small amount of time. I am so glad she has the opportunity to do so many fun things.

Easter Weekend

We had a really fun and relaxing Easter weekend. I loved that it was conference and so we had a chance to really concentrate on the reason we have Easter. We spent all day Saturday playing Easter Bunny and enjoyed all of the festivities going on around town. We started off the day going to the big hunt up at old main hill where Cohen won one of the big prizes. It was cute he was really excited.

Caeli really likes us to read to her. So we found superfudge at the library. She loves to spend some time with just her and her dad.
Cara is now a crawling fool. But she spends most of her time on her head like this. (don't you just love her cute little chubby legs?)

Serious Business

Easter egg coloring at our house was very serious business. They were so cute and excited. We jumped the gun a little because now I have to spend all week answering the question "is the Easter Bunny coming NOW?!"

Caeli got a little too involved and didn't notice that her hair was in the green. She was worried she was going to have to have her hair all cut off like a boy. (the worst punishment she could ever think of) luckily it didn't come to that. However a trim is in her immediate future. BRING ON EASTER!

Spring What??

Just a little preview of our spring break. We had a horrible storm and this is what my parents' backyard looks like. It's insane. Things are warming up quite nicely now though. Hopefully the snow will melt soon or I'm not coming back. lol

We swore this would never happen....
