The kids are home!

This weekend the girls came up and brought my little darlin's back to me. It was so fun to see, not only the kids, but Mom, Teri and Jazmin. It was way to quick of a trip for my liking but it was just fun to lay around and eat Cafe Rio and chocolate and get pampered. (Jazmin brought all of her hair stuff.) I feel like a whole new woman. I did cheat on Saturday and left the house to take the kids to the Aquatic Center. It was a blast. it's such a fun little water park. The kids loved it and Cohen wasn't scared of anything.

Cohen going down the "twisty slide" with Grandma. Mom said he laughed the whole way down.

Cohen lounging like mom. That is exactly what I did, and it was soooo nice.

My little man has become very attached to his grandma hatch. He wanted her most of the time this weekend. He has liked me a little more since she went home.

What a fun day! I had a blast getting out of the house and the kids loved every second of it. Thanks so much to Jaz for fixing my hair. It's so much better, even if I am the only one that can tell. :) I was so happy Teri was able to drive up from Vegas, it was a long drive but fun to see her. It's fun to have the kids back at home. They really do make the day a little brighter.
Good times....

Ok- a little pregnancy update I know some of you mentioned you have been checking for updates..... After the before mentioned outing I have been suffering the consequences. :) I spent the afternoon today in the hospital. Things are moving along a little and I will be really surprised if this little girl doesn't have a May birthday. I am just happy they let me come home and spend the night in my own bed. :) There are some definate advantages to living within a few blocks of the hospital. So there is a strong possibility that my next post will include little baby girl Chidester pictures. I am 32+ weeks so I will get to deliver here in Logan and am so hapy about that. So here's hoping to developed lungs and "healthy" preemies...... :)

Milestone

Today I am 30 weeks 5 days which is exactly how far I was when Cohen was born. I am happy to have made it this far and now every day is a bonus. I am really encouraged and doing so well! so I think I will make it a while still. At the doctor last week we did an ultrasound and she measured 2 lbs 11 oz. It's easy to picture how big she is because Cohen dropped down to that a few days after he was born. Bed rest is going well, I am becoming a weakling for sure. I am really looking forward to the day that I can quit taking so many meds. They make me feel weird, I hate drugs. :) I just had to up my dose to keep contractions under control, it worked but it doubled the side effects. I also have to do my shots every 5 days now. My legs are getting pretty ugly :) and numb....
The kids got to come home for a week. It was so fun to see them and spend time with them. I have really mixed feelings about having them here. I want them here and want to see them so bad but it is REALLY hard to have them. Cam is so great and does everything and Kacey has been staying to help, so I have tons of great help! There are just sometimes the kids just need their mom, (and I need them) so sitting here is not an option, and I pay for it later. They love to be in Koosharem so it is easier to let them go down there. It's still home to them. Cohen has turned into a Grandpa Jay's boy he kept asking for him while he was here. He wanted grandpa's four wheeler and was pretty excited when I told him that is where he was going. I think Caeli likes to be down there so much because she gets away with a few more things than she does at home. (ok, more then just a few) They will be back over Memorial Weekend. Ok, enough rambling.... :)

We had the most unbelievable tragedy here in our apartment complex Monday night. A little 5 year old boy was hit by a car in the parking lot and was killed. It has been the most somber week around here. Words can't even describe. I have never wanted my kids around me so bad in my life. It really puts into perspective what is important in this life. On nice days we are all outside running around and enjoying each others company and it could have been any one of our kids. I am grateful that my kids were not here and out there when everything was going on. I am trying to figure out what to say to Caeli (if anything) She doesn't have a clue, but I would almost like to be able to have a discussion about safety. We live on campus and the school has been so wonderful to have counselors available for everyone. I wish I could have gone to the meeting they had here if nothing else just to show support. I think we all feel so helpless, but I really do because I can't really leave my couch much.... The family has just been in our prayers constantly. Thank goodness for Eternal Families!

I think I just have too much time to sit around and think about useless things. I know this is my 3rd pregnancy so I should have something to compare to but neither of my last pregnancies count.. When I was pregnant with Cohen I only gained 4 lbs the whole time and that was a bad thing in that case. With Caeli my body was completely different but I still didn't gain hardly any weight when I was pregnant with her. So I am having major depression over all of the weight that I have gained with this baby. I am still not quite 30 weeks and I have gained a lot of weight. So I am wondering.... what's amount is actually normal to gain? I am just curious what normal healthy people do when they are pregnant.
