7 Things you may not know about me....
This one has been hard for me. You all know everything interesting about me. But I've been thinking about it for a long time ane here goes.
1. I am a little obsessed with cooking. OK a lot. I love to make fun new things.... good things. I am a long ways away from being a great cook but it is really fun. I watch all of the cooking shows that I can. It's really rewarding to make up a new recipe and have it turn out.
2. I hate to bake. I cook but I DO NOT bake. Pies, breads, cookies, cakes.... they stress me out so I just don't make them. I do make the occasional cookie, but I don't really enjoy it.
3. I love Wynonna Judd. When I was 8 my mom took me to a Judds concert for my birthday. Then when Naomi quit singing it was just Wynonna and I love her. When I drive all alone in the car I love to crank up her CD and sing at the top of my lungs.
4. I am a bit of a hollywood junkie. I like to know Hollywood gossip and find it horribly interesting who is dating who and what eveyone is doing. The older I get and the older Caeli gets I am more and more disgusted with the things that they are doing, (and especially wearing) but for some reason if I see a good magazine with some juicy info in it I have to read it.
5. The 4th of July is my favorite holiday. I love fireworks and BBQs and all of the traditions that we have. I have always liked the 4th of July but when I really started to love it was the summer that we spent up in Fort Lewis when the guard was up there for their deployment. We got to spend the 4th up there on the base and something about it just made me really appreciate our country a lot more. As much as I have cussed the Military I am really proud of Cam that he served our country. It is something to be proud of and I hope our kids can appreciate it someday too.
6. I hate most animals. Hate is a strong word I guess. I know that there are some exceptions but most animals are just dirty, smelly and annoying. I hate Horses and sheep the most, but cats and little yippie dogs are right behind. I hate going onto someone's house and coming out covered in pet fur. If you must have a pet that sheds, it should live outside.
7. I really really love the the mountains. I love Camping and being it the tall pine trees, they smell great and it's a cool feeling. I could never live anywhere that I can't see the mountains it makes me chlosterphobic. One of my favorite places is up at Manning Meadows. I love the lake and seeing the Elk and the whole thing. The only place I have found that I love more is Jackson Hole. Springtime in Jackson to be specific. Everything in the valley is green and beautiful and there is a ton of snow on the mountains. I love it. When I lived up there and would drive to work and just look around I have never felt closer to the Lord and truly appreciated this world that he created for us. It's an amazing blessing.
