Why do we live here?

Oh how I wish that pictures could do the real thing justice. I took this picture out of my front window yeasterday afternoon (about 2pm) you couldn't see the tree all that well and it is only 10 feet away and you couldn't see out to the street. whe wind was crazy too. it was one of the worst storms that we have had this year. (at least no doors blew open) Caeli was scared of the storm. The roads around town were closed last night and a lot of people were stuck just trying to get out of their driveways. Cam included. this is just nuts. Does anyone but me have spring fever!?!? I am going to lose it soon! I have a feeling that there are many months of cold ahead. maybe I can talk cam into moving to Florida.... nah maybe Hawaii.

He's home

Just a quick update.... we did get Cohen home on Monday. He is doing really well. he has still got a nasty hacking cough and if it has been too long between breathing treatments he gets a little wheezy. Really after all of the horrible stories that you hear about RSV I think that he's doing very well. Caeli is really cute with him, she likes to help me hold the nebulizer and tells him over and over "it's ok cute boy" (she may have heard me say that a time or two) hopefully he starts sleeping at night again soon.

SAY AAAHHHH!!!

Bad News!! We took Cohen to the hospital today because he's been pretty sick the past few days and not breathing well, and the doctor told us he's got RSV. We've got him started on some medicine and a nebulizer for treatment. He's only just started on it, so we haven't yet seen any improvement to speak of, but he seems to be doing relativly good considering the circumstances.

Keep him in your prayers that he doen't get worse and end up in the hospital. The doctor wants him close just in case, so we will be staying in Richfield at mom and dad's for a few days just in case he takes a turn for the worst, but if he improves in that time, we will be able to go back home.

Snowing inside?

The picture doesn't even do it justice but I had to show you this. We were at my parents house when a big storm moved in and the wind blew our back door open. (yes that is snow on the wall) it was everywhere, on the ceiling and everything. it was a huge mess. cam used the snow shovel to get most of it out then we used a fan to dry it the rest of the way. Needless to say Cam put a new latch on the door. We better not have this problem again.

We are joining in the blog scene

Hello everyone! I have decided that it is about time that We join in the blogging scene. Mostly so that we can show off our cute kids. It might take a little while for me to get the hang of this all but I will give it a try. So for now, I am just happy to report that we are all healthy and happy. Cohen is now 12 lbs 12 oz and with the exception of a little cold he has been REALLY healthy. Time flys by so fast. Caeli is a very proud big sister and really full of it. Her world is all about pink and princesses. I hope that stage will end sometime soon. Cam and I are just plugging along up here in the freezing cold arctic. We have been fighting frozen pipes in the house again. if the temps will just stay out of the negatives it will sure help.
