Cohen gets tubed!

Cohen has had quite a few ear infections lately so our pediatrician referred us to an ENT specialist and we decided to get tubes put in his ears. He wasn't too sure what was going on when we got there. He didn't like the gown at all. He liked the funny hat but hated the socks they gave him. He did really well with it all. He didn't care when they took him away from me to get started. It was harder on me than anything. He has been a little bit irritable today but overall he has been just fine. I just hope it helps the little guy. Ear infections can't be fun for him. I felt bad because he is such a tough little cookie that I didn't even know with a few of the infections until we were at the doctor for his lung problems. I finally got to where I could tell by his balance. He hasn't had much of an appitite today. I am sure that will change soon. But he didn't even have his second nap today. He's so good.

Cohen's new mask

With Cohen's latest round of breathing problems the doctor gave us this new little mask to use with his nebulizer. It has been so so nice! The old one he just wanted to play with and I am not sure he got as much of the medicine as he should have. This is the way to go with him for sure. He seems to actually like it and will leave it on and everything. Caeli wasn't so sure about it when we got it. She told me "Mom!! It's for girls. It's purple." I told her that it could be for boys or girls and that it was a dinosaur so boys like it too. She put her hand on her forehead and said "Oh, no! Not a purple dinosaur! ANYTHING but Barney." Cameron's hate for Barney has definately rubbed off on her. I laughed, and reassured her it was not Barney. As soon as Cohen's flare up of this latest inflamation goes away they are going to start him on a daily asthma treatment. I hope that it helps. I feel so bad for him. It's can't be fun to have breathing problems all of the time. It just seems that it is never going to go away.

IT'S A GIRL!!!

We had an ultrasound yesterday and found out not only is the baby perfect and healthy, but it is a girl! I am really excited about having another girl. We were a little earlier then our 20 weeks to get the ultrasound because I have been having a couple of problems. (imagine that, me having problems in a pregnancy:)) But everything with the baby looks really good. We will get to have our regular 20 weeek ultrasound here in a few weeks. so bonus. We got a few fun pictures which I will post as soon as I can find a scanner to borrow... My favorite one of her, is actually of her little feet. Now we will just see if we can agree on a girl name. That one might be hard. It is always fun a reassuring to have an untrasound and get to see the baby moving around and doing cute little things. She would put her hands on her face and then play with her feet. I love it.

Moving in....

We spent this weekend helping Steven and Jazmin move in to their new house. They bought the cutest house out in Eagle Mountain, but it was a DISASTER. The lady that lived there had dogs. Horrible disgusting shedding dogs and she never cleaned up after them. The picture above is of me cleaning dog urine off of the wall. Don't ask why I am smiling. It was horrible. I have never seen so much hair and pee everywhere. My mom cleaned the carpets and I can't believe she got them clean. They looked so good afterward. I think poor Jaz is going to be finding hair for the next year at least.
Caeli thought she was pretty big stuff. She mostly walked around and told us what to do. (where would she learn that hehe) She got to spend some time making snow angels and throwing snow at Cam. She learned about ladders and spent a lot of time going up and down the ladder. She just would walk around and say "I am doing the hardest jobs"

Cohen carried this little scrub brush around and "helped" too. He helped my mom with the blinds (which were disgusting I might add) He just got the biggest smile on his face and clapped for himself. He is growing up so much so fast!!!

Friday night we worked really late. We had all of the carpets clean and drying and we decided to just sleep at the house. The kids took the bathroom, Cohen in the tub and Caeli on the floor. We took the kitchen floor. It was quite the experience. We had 2 blankets, on on top and one on bottom and 2 pillows. We finally got to sleep about 2:30 and the kids woke us up at about 6:45. It was the longest shortest night of my life. That is one hard kitchen floor. We were so tired and we couldn't quit laughing at ourselves. The boys went back to Salt Lake to sleep. They were smarter then us. :) It was one of the grossest projects ever and I don't remember ever being so happy for a shower. I love all of you dog-in-the-house people, but if you have a dog that must be in the house..... clean up after it!!!! I am still in awe that anyone in this world lived like that. but all of our hard work paid off and the house looked really great when we were done. We had a lot of laughs. It's fun to be with the family no matter what we are doing.
