Changes coming up...

For people who hate change we sure do it a lot. Cam was having some stress at work and so he decided that he needs to go back to school. YEA!! I completely agree with that. However, he found out that he can't do what he needs to do through snow in Richfield sooo.... It looks like we are moving. We are weighing our options and we have narrowed it down to either SUU or Utah State. I honestly don't care which so we will see what Cam decides. Cam is going to get his degree in Electrical Engineering. It looks like he will have it done in about 5 semesters. I think that is a great thing. We are just both really sad about moving. Cam especially. He just got his EMT certificate and was really enjoying being on the Fire department. He loves his calling in the ward, he is having a much harder time then me. We'll keep you posted when we decide what we are doing. You never know where we will end up.

Kiddie Tag...

Cambree tagged Caeli and Cohen so I asked Caeli some of her favorite things and this is what she came up with...

1 Caeli's favorite color is pink, but says "sometimes I like Purple too" that is new.
2 Her favorite Animal is Prince, Prince is her cute little white pony. Now I feel a little guilty for trying to get rid of it. But just a little
3 She says her favorite food to eat is Oranges. That is news to me. This morning she came and asked me if she could have Cheesesteak, I was a little surprised but I had some roast beef in the fridge and so I told her ok. well, turns out she said Cheesecake. I came in and found her with a fork and a pan of cheesecake. What a healthy breakfast.
4 She says her best friend is Kayla, That is my 11 year old cousin Makayla. She babysits for me a lot. Usually her best friend is Aunt Ter.
5 She says her favorite princess is Cinderellie, Basically she just likes all of the princesses. I think that if she saw sleeping beauty she would like that one best, after all she does wear a pink dress.
6 Caeli has a really great memory, she remembers a lot of things that I can't believe she remembers. When we drive by places she will tell us who lives there, we hadn't driven by our old house in Richfield for a long time and when we drove by the other day she said, "look mom there is a new fence at my old house".
7 she is the BEST big sister. She loves Cohen and helps out so much. She keeps wanting to pick him up and carry him around with her. We have to watch carefully so she doesn't. She carries on conversations with Cohen, she will ask him questions and then answer them for him always ending his answers in "yes, big sister"
8 I don't really know what else to tell you about her, she is full of life, just full of it in general. She keeps our life interesting. Just don't tell her that she isn't 12!

Ok a few things about Cohen, he is the happiest baby! Such a good little guy. He is now almost 10 months old, wow time flies. He is finally just starting to crawl. He likes something soft to sleep with. He waves bye bye and his babbles have now turned into real sounds like Mama and Dada. He loves to be outside and the only place that he will sleep other then his own crib and his carseat is on Grandma Great's floor in her bedroom.

We are really blessed to have 2 happy and healthy kids!

Ok, Caeli and Cohen tag... Makell and Titan, Keanna, Kade and Allayna, and Shaylie and Avery :)

Family Night

On Monday we went on a little 4-wheeler ride with the kids. For future reference, it's not that easy to take a 9 month old on a 4-wheeler. He loved every second of it but it's hard to drive with just one arm. I forgot to take the camera up on the mountain with us so these are some pictures just as we got home. We had a lot of fun. We took the kids to a the place where we went on our date for my prom and showed Caeli where we had put our names on a tree. She thought that it was pretty cool. She told me that when her and Cohen go on a date that she will put their names on a tree too.
Yes I need a tan and some makeup, but Cohen looks so cute!! It is so fun to live where we do, I love to be able to just run up in the hills for a little while. We went up and roasted hotdogs and made s'mores (Cohen loves s'mores) It was a perfect beautiful evening. I am glad that the weather will finally cooperate so we can get out and do a few fun things!

Memorial Weekend Fun...or Misery

We decided to take a little camping trip this weekend. This is what we woke up to: SNOW!!! It was crazy cold and miserable. So we came home a day early. It snowed on us all day until we left. We won't be doing that again any time soon. Cam and I would have been ok, and even Caeli was having fun eating ice. Cohen is not much of a camper to beging with, so it made it extra bad to be up there in bad weather with a baby. However despite the weather, we did have some good times around the campfire laughing and telling stories. We also saw a bunch of Elk and a few deer. We woke up in the night to the cow elk chirping and they were really close to us. We love to be outdoors, maybe next time we will believe the weather man.
Friday was Caeli's dance recital. She did well and actually knew what she was doing and where she was supposed to be. After one small wardrobe malfunction she danced her little heart out. They put lipstick on her and so she thought that she was pretty hot stuff. One small little ranting moment- SOME MOTHERS!!! Some of these cute little 4 and 5 year old girls came to the recital in full on $5 hooker makeup! I hesitated putting lipstick on my 3 year old, I can't imagine. What are we teaching our little girls? Going back to my own dance and drama days I know enough about stage make-up to know what they were going for, but come on, not on our beautiful little tiny girls that aren't even in kindergarten yet. And that's all I have to say 'bout that.
